Fabiana Melita is the chef of this cute restaurant in the historical heart of Taormina. She has been working for about ten years at her father's restaurant Il Fico d'India, the first restaurant that opened more than 40 years ago in Letojanni. Fabiana's specialty is fish and seafood.
We had the macaroni with aubergines and tomato and the ravioli with pistachio, followed by shrimps in lemon leaves and grilled grouper. The pasta dishes were exactly what we were looking for; very simple, fresh and homemade, and the fish was just delicious. For dessert a must-try is the homemade Tiramisù!
Al Paladino is frequented by many locals, what is always a good sign, so or you come early or you reserve a table.
