The restaurant is part of Hotel Mamma Santina and is also open to non-guests. It is over 30 years since the restaurant at Mamma Santina served its first customer and started a very successful journey. 5 years down the line the hotel was built and Mamma Santina has become complete.
Today the restaurant and hotel managed by Mario are very popular and feature in many guides and books about Sicily. There isn't any set menu, the waiter will just advice you the offer of the day and few other dishes to make your choice. We would recommend to try out the pasta made with 14 herbs, it is a powerful dish when it comes to flavours. Also the grilled seabass with lemon is very satisfying.
Make sure you come early in the evening to get a table in the outside open-air terrace.
