Seafood
Desperately trying to find a non touristy restaurant in Pozzallo where to have dinner we were sent by a kind person to Chefammare. The location is welcoming with vaults, wooden ceilings, chic furnishings and pastel coloured walls.
We had some yummy hot and cold appetizers, a tasty seafood couscous, sweet and sour swordfish and a bluefin tuna on eggplant with pistachio - divine! And an ever so delicious tempura with fish and veggies. In summer you can eat outside in a quiet square.
In short: we spent a very pleasant evening. The staff are incredibly kind, always smiling and even thank customers (not very common in this part of the island). Chefammare is slightly more expensive than the other restaurants around, but prices are more than justified by the quality and the service.
