Description

Palermo defined as the capital of the Mediterranean, since antiquity has been desired, desired and conquered by peoples from all over the world. As early as the Bronze Age, the first settlers, peoples from the nearby smaller islands, established themselves by putting down their roots in Palermo's most important and imposing mountain, Monte Pellegrino, also famous for the shrine of Santa Rosalia, Patron Saint of Palermo, located inside a cave at the top of the mountain. Later, Romans, Greeks, Byzantines, Phoenicians, followed in the following centuries by Arabs, Spanish and Normans. Today we can say that, thanks to these conquerors, Palermo enjoys an architectural cultural and gastronomic heritage that is the envy of the entire world. And that is why we propose a front row seat from a scenic park of all respect, THE SEA. I will tell you about Panormus, today's Palermo, which means 'all-port city,' Castello Utveggio, Porta Felice, the Queen's Caves, the Tonnare Florio and Bordonaro, and the Florios' residence Villa Igiea and the Palazzina dei Quattro Pizzi. Before returning, a typical Palermitan aperitif will be offered, with cannolo tasting, almond pastries, sipping wines such as Zibibbo and Malvasia. A one-of-a-kind experience with a chance to take a dip, weather permitting. Departure daily from the Cala marina.
